Anna's surgery started at 10:30 on Wednesday and they finished around 2:30. They had a few technical issues to work through, but Anna did very well. She spent a few hours in PICU and had a MRI. She got settled into a "regular" room and wired to the EEG machines and video around 9:30 last night. She is very tired today and quite. We have increased her pain meds and hope that she perks up this afternoon. She did eat a small breakfast, which proves that she is like her Mom and nothing can interrupt her appetite. Now we sit and wait for seizures, as she is being weened from her meds. The hospital, staff, and doctors are awesome! She has her own personal nurse around the clock, so that is very helpful. Stay tuned as we will be here for awhile...
Thanks to everyone for all the calls, e-mails, cards, food, snacks, love, support, and your most precious prayers!!!!

We are located on the 2nd floor North room 204. When you come into the hospital, you walk onto the 3rd floor, which means you take the elevator down to the 2nd floor. At the 2 North desk, you have to call the nurse to let you onto the floor.
