Sorry this is going out late, but we had a late night. The surgery did not begin until 5:00 yesterday and did not finish until midnight. Everything was fine and she remained stable in surgery. Louis and I got to see her around 2:00 am in PICU. She has rested well so far, however she has a fever of 102.6. She is very dazed, but her eyes are moving well and she has moved her arms and legs. Doctors are watching the fever and blood pressure closely, but told us not to worry. Infection would not have set in this quickly. This may be a side effect of everything that she has been through the past week. Anna is going for a MRI this afternoon and then back to PICU until at least tomorrow. She is sleepy mostly, but wakes from time to time with whines. Doctors said that once we get her fever down that she will feel better. Please pray that the fever reduces quickly and Anna is able to respond better. We are also ready for her to eat today. She hasn't eaten since Tuesday evening.
Thanks for your prayers..God is answering our prayers.
Also, Camille had a great birthday. God's timing is so perfect that when the surgery was pushed back I was able to spend a long lunch with Camille and have a little play time before I came back to the hospital. She said it was her best birthday ever! She also told me that she is scared for Anna, so remember her sweet little heart in your prayers too.
Thanks again,
Rebecca

I'm so glad the birthday girl enjoyed herself!!! And Rebecca, let me know if you're up for visitors later this weekend. We're praying for Anna's quick recovery and reduced fever. Her poor little body has been through so much, but she's a fighter and will get through this! What a brave girl!
