Sorry again for the delayed update. The last 48 hours have been full of ups and downs - sorta like the month of December. Today ended on an up by bringing Anna home. Anna had a shunt surgery early Friday morning and we spent yesterday recovering from surgery and keeping her comfortable. She had a good night and once again the doctor says that he trusts us to take good care of her and call if anything appears to be abnormal. Anna has slept most of today and seems to be happy to be back with her family. Her poor scalp looks more like a bad quilting project, but in time it will heal and her beautiful hair will cover the scars. Her hair-do is a cross between a mohawk and mullet. Her smile and giggles are like heaven!
Our hearts are so happy to have her home and we are still so taken back by all of the blessings that our friends continue to share with our family. Thank you all so much! We could not have made it this far without God's Grace and your friendship!
Love ya'll,
Rebecca
