It has been a long time since we have made any updates. Things have been "normal" for us since August, although we have had fewer doctor appointments until recently. I started back working at GHBC in the Preschool/Kinder Ministry, which I love. It is a great break and I work with wonderful women. Louis moved his office back home, which saves the company money. He doesn't miss the commute, but wishes things were less noisy after school. I think his office will undergo a remodel that will include installing doors this weekend. Camille is doing great in 2nd grade and has enjoyed her new puppy Odie, which she got for her 8th birthday in Dec. Today is Anna's 5th birthday! We are having pizza and cake this evening.
Anna seizures continue to come and go. She had a good run of being seizure free from Sept. - Nov. Since then, they have been on average every 7-10 days. We started our 1 year post op appointments over the holiday break and they have found that her shunt isn't draining as it should. The MRI showed that her ventricles are slightly enlarged and her shunt study showed that the drainage is sluggish. The doctors put these two test together and decided to put in a new shunt. So back to Dell Children's Medical Center on Feb. 10 for surgery. They expect that we will be there 2-3 days and then home for a few.
That's all for now...I will put up new pictures soon!
Love,
Rebecca

I had been wondering how you all were doing. I'm so glad to get an update. I miss seeing you. We're going to Austin Stone Community Church now. Please give Anna a big hug for me and I'll be praying for her.
