Anna is resting well at night (at least as well as she normally sleeps) and looks great again today. She is eating well and wanting to get out of bed so badly. We can sit her up for about an hour at a time. Her right side is slowly getter stronger and she is moving it a little bit each day. It is expected that her right side will make a full recovery with aggressive physical and occupational therapy. PTL!
Yesterday her protein levels were down to 156 (40-60 is normal). The surgeon said today that he is comfortable doing the surgery on Monday, as there doesn't seem to be as many particles floating in the fluid. She is scheduled for surgery sometime around noon.
Pray for a restful, peaceful, patient, and non-eventful weekend!
