Tuesday Update

Anna rested well last night and has not required anything stronger than Tylenol for pain management. She does need a sedative at night to rest. It looks like we may be able to go home today, which thrills us! As I've stated before, Anna is not back to where she was before surgery, but with intensive therapy and lots of love, we will get there.

As for the seizures, it will take time to see the outcome of the surgery. It was expected that the drop seizures would be completly elimitated and the tonic seizures would be less intense. We will be watching her closely over next 4-6 months to see a pattern.

Let's pray that she will be completely healed, exceed expectations in development, and never need another surgery! Miracles happen!
