Another Night

Anna will remain in the hospital tonight. She has been fussy all day and just can't get comfortable. Because she is non-verbal, we don't know if it is her head, lungs, or what. We just got back from doing a CT scan of her head. Depending on those results, they may turn up the shunt or leave it as is. If the shunt drainage does not need to be change, they will increase pain medication. The air bubbles around her lungs can be painful not to mention the three incisions from the surgery on Saturday. It will take a few days for the air bubbles around her lungs to be absorbed, but they will go away on their own.

Please pray that Anna starts to feel better and her discomfort will be resolved. We also pray that she does not have any seizures.

Love,
Rebecca
