I took Anna to school on Tuesday and discovered that she was bleeding from the incision on her head. At first it was just a little, then it really started bleeding. I called the surgeons office and we agreed to met at their office to take a look at what was going on. Of course, it was morning rush hour, it started pouring down rain, and Anna had blood all over the left side of her face, neck, and shirt. She seemed fine as she watched Elmo, clapping her hands, just as happy as could be. Anyway, we got there and all her stitches were in place. She must have bumped her head on the side of the car seat and just made the incision bleed. They cleaned her all up and she has stayed home this week to rest and hopefully and prayerfully avoid any germs that could cause infection.
Seizures still occur every 7-10 days more or less. The surgeon is talking about another surgery later this year, but nothing confirm. He will likly order more tests soon.
Hopefully this is the end of this surgery story!
